First let us stop creating black money
Felt very happy.. not because that Baba has ended his fast.. But to see so many Indians interested in bringing back the Black money to the country. The thing to think about is what are we, as simple common uncorrupted Indians are really doing about it. When are we going to stop turning money from white to black. How a legal document produced by Reserve Bank of India turns illegal? How could politicians and businessmen stash them in foreign bank accounts? Transactions of money from a consumer to producer/ seller should be legal. That legality is accorded to the transaction only when it is known to the Government. Government will know this transaction only when there is a document recording the transaction and the document is forwarded to the Government or audited by the Government. That document is simply called as bill. How many of us, so called uncorrupted, affected common public take bill from the seller when we buy anything? In my hometown when I went to buy jewelery from a famous jewelery shop. The seller offered to give me the item without bill, so that I can save 1 percentage tax which will go to the Government. But I said I have no problem in paying tax to the Government and I insisted on the bill. With a meaningful smile in his face, he gave me the bill. By offering me a saving of 1 percentage of my money, the shop for sure is going to save a lot of money, because the transaction is not going to be recorded. He does not have to pay any tax to the Government. The legal money earned by me through the legal salary paid by Government will turn to black money, if i had bought the item without bill. I bought the jewelery for Rs 17000 only. But think about other common Indians who might have bought jewelery from the shop. How many would have insisted on a bill like me? People who have black money already would be very happy to buy from the shop. But what about the legal money earned legally through salaries getting converted to black money just because of the stupid greed of common Indians to save 1 percentage tax. This is just a simple example. How many of us refrain from registering land transactions showing the value of the land much lesser than for what we bought it? How many of us refuse to accept bills for quarter the sum we paid to the deemed educational institutions which are supposed to create the future of the country? I have always believed that we are the base of corruption and corruption starts here. Let us change and bring in the change. Let us not just be so emotional about a Baba, who himself has more to hide than to reveal.
